The Zi Wei Dou Shu of the Indianapolis Colts

It was snowy day in the early spring of 1984 when Hoosiers welcomed the birth of their new National Football League team, the Indianapolis Colts.  The morning newspapers brought happy news of the delivery on the morning of March 29, 1984, during the most recent Year of the Wood Rat.  The newly erected Hoosier Dome would sit empty no longer, and Indianapolis residents would soon be able to purchase licensed merchandise bearing the name of an athlete they might actually run into at Ike and Jonesy's on a Friday night.  It was not just the dawn of a new era for Indianapolis, but the birth of "being".  How entertaining it will be for the astrology fan and student to use a Chinese sky chart, or Zi Wei Dou Shu to forecast a game and possibly a season.
To read a sky chart, the astrologer must know not only the date and place of the birth, but also the time.  The actual time of the Indianapolis Colts' birth may never be agreed upon.  The exact time which the Baltimore Colts died and were reincarnated into the Indianapolis Colts was under great scrutiny by Maryland politicians who had attempted to take control of the Colts on March 29, 1984. Federal judges later determined that by noon, March 29, that the Colts no longer belonged to Baltimore.  The collective conscience of Indianapolis likely accepted the Indianapolis Colts as its own between 3 and 5 a.m., since this is the time many newspapers are delivered.  The astrology student now has all the information necessary to read the Zi Wei Dou Shu of the Indianapolis Colts.
The team is a Wood Rat, featuring the Tiger as its ascending sign.  How entertaining it might be to use the sky charts for football game predictions.  On October 10th, 2010, at 1 p.m.,  the Indianapolis Colts will be host to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Prediction:  The Colts will play slightly better during the first 3 quarters of the game because 1p.m. to 3 p.m. are hours of the Sheep, which are just slightly more favorable than the following hours of the Monkey.  Because we are in a Tiger Year, somewhat favorable for Rat, there will be no dismal losses throughout the season.  There will be losses, though, because the Colts' ascending sign, Tiger, is not the luckiest during a Tiger Year.  On October 10, there will be some confusion amongst team players early in the game.  A bad play may lead to a minor injury with a quick recovery to play again in the 4th quarter.  3 p.m. begins the hour of the Monkey, which is even less favorable for Rat. The Colts will score a touchdown on a very exciting play in the 4th quarter, but it will not be enough to win the game.
The good news for Colts fans is that next season will be much better.  2011 will be Year of Metal Rabbit, which is much more favorable for the Rat!  Look for the Colts to do very well in the playoffs next year.
